Beyond the Barriers welcomes six new experts to the team
- Pete Cohen is highly qualified in many different areas of psychology, personal development and health and fitness. As a popular motivational speaker and business coach, Pete coaches and presents talks, workshops and seminars to companies such as IBM, Pfizer, BAA, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Thomas Cook. His interactive style motivates and inspires. As GMTV’s resident Life Coach and motivator for the past 6 years, Pete has become a leading personality on screen. Pete is highly respected in the world of sport and has been the peak performance coach to numerous world-class sports people, including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Sally Gunnell, Ellen Macarthur, Roger Black and the Arsenal Football team.
- Toby Garbett is an Olympian and two times World Champion rower. An experienced personal trainer, he combines his own training regime with providing leading edge fitness training to private clients. He first represented Great Britain in 1997 aged 19 and has since competed in 5 World Championships and attended two Olympic Games.
- Sue Firth is a Business Psychologist, Stress Expert, Behaviour Analyst & Author and is a specialist in helping CEOs and senior executives manage stress, from an individual and group perspective. She is an international speaker & presenter and holds both a Batchelor of Science and a Masters Degree. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, The International Stress Management Association (ISMA) and The Academy for Chief Executives (ACE). Sue regularly appears in the media and has been a guest/expert on ITV This Morning and BBC Panorama.
- Justin Buckthorp is an experienced health and professional with a real passion for helping people look, feel and perform at their best.. He has worked with every shape, size and type of client from complete newcomers to exercise, to elite professional athletes across a range of sports. . With the golfing community, Justin works with a variety of players from the Challenge Tour, European Tour, American PGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. He has worked with the European Ryder Cup team and currently sits on the medical Advisory Board of the European Tour Performance Institute.
- Neil Templeton has over 20 years senior management experience with blue chip organisations in the Telecoms, IT and Professional Service sectors. He has consistent track record of success in all aspects of marketing and business development gained across a range of international markets. Before joining the Beyond the Barriers team, Neil was Marketing and Business Development Director on the board of international law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner.
- Adele Wolstenhulme is an Institute for Optimum Nutrition trained practitioner, she has also met the strict criteria required for Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC) registration – the Professional Standards Council for regulation of Nutritional Therapists, and she is registered on the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners for GP referrals. Adele has a personal passionate commitment to helping people embrace a future free of chronic disease through optimum nutrition.
