Dr Steve Bull
Steve is a chartered psychologist, consultant, speaker and author with a 25 year track record of working with high performers in both sport and business. He has been the headquarters Psychologist for the Great Britain Team at three Olympic Games and worked with the England Cricket Team for 12 years culminating in victory over Australia in the 2009 Ashes series.
He is now Principal Leadership Coach for the England and Wales Cricket Board. Since the mid 1980s Steve has also worked with individuals in premiership football and rugby, the European PGA golf tour, professional tennis and motor sport. He has written 8 books and provided numerous expert media interviews on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and SKY News broadcasts.
Steve has been consulting in the business world since the late 1990s and during this time has worked with 11 of the FTSE Top 100 companies. He has considerable international consulting experience having designed and delivered executive development programmes for clients in Europe, the United States and the Middle East.
Steve was a university academic for 14 years and has a PhD in Applied Psychology. He has served as Chair of three different national sports science committees and in 2006 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate for “outstanding work as a sport psychologist at national and international levels”.
His highly popular book, The Game Plan: Your guide to mental toughness at work is a user friendly guide to developing performance, effectiveness and resilience in the workplace. It has been used as a resource for a range of blue chip companies around the world and forms the basis of his trade mark workshops which focus on equipping individuals and teams with tools and techniques designed to facilitate enhanced performance under pressure.
